My car runs "like a sport" but the interior was getting a little "ratty" This was just what the "car doctor" ordered!!! Wish the material it was made out of was heavier. Its ok for me BUT if you are "hauling" a lot of kids or little ones in carseats I do not think the material the seat covers are made out of would hold up well at all. This is just my opinion.... Its kind of hard to keep clean too. As I said its just fine for my purpose though!! In other words so far, so good.

I purchased this for my PT cruisor, wanting to keep the seats looking new..First problem, it reaks of some sort of chemical.. I mean REAKS.... I know a lot of products smell after you pull them out of the plastic bag they're housed in, but this stunk horribly. I took it out of the bag, it smelled really bad so I let it sit in the box while I went out and got the car ready for them. When I came back in the house, the entire house smelled like a chemical plant.. I took them out to the garage thinking they would air out.. They didn't..Despite the smell,I decided I would give them a try, hoping the smell would go away.. However, personally, I don't want to feel like I'm being fumigated every time I get in my car. I have a feeling the car would smell horrible after sitting in the hot sun this summer.Second problem, one of the elastic straps ripped loose when I tried to hook it under the seat. I sew, so I brought it inside and sewed the entire seam and double stitched the elastic straps, but when I put on the other seat cover, I could feel the straps starting to go again. I don't feel I should have to resew a premade product..By this time I was getting a really bad headache from the smell!Third problem, they are really hard to install.. You have to tuck elastic straps between the bottom/back of seat to hook them under the seat.. The elastic straps are really loose feeling elastic and I would suspect would stretch out very quickly, but I still tried to make them work.. You get a little bag of hooks that you are suppose to slide onto the elastic. This is a problem in itself since the little hooks tend to snag the elastic rather than slide on easily, so you will spend quite a bit of time trying to get them on correctly. Then after you get them on, it will be difficult to find a place under the seat that can actually hold them.. I thought I had all of them securely attached, but when I moved the seat back to where it normally sits, most of the straps popped loose.. I had to move the seat forward in order to reach the elastic straps from the back and pull them under the seat.. I guess this would be ok if you could possible manage to get ahold of the straps and attach them without moving the seat from where you normally have it.. Hopefully, you'll never have to move the seat again. Did I mention I had a really bad headache from the smell?Fourth problem....Ok...I managed to get the seat and back of the seats done on both the front seats.. I wasn't thrilled with the look, but it looked ok... I put the shoulder straps on the seat belts and they seemed to be a good idea.. Then I moved on to the steering wheel.. pt's do not have a very big steering wheel, but that thing was not going to fit my steering wheel.. I tried and I tried and I tried.. There was no way it was going to fit.. I'm thinking the only steering wheel it would fit would be on a clown car.. It's too small for any steering wheel I've ever seen! Did I mention my headache was getting really bad despite having all the car doors open and sitting in the driveway with lots of fresh air around?Fifth problem....I'm not one to give up and I was determined to make this set work.. I moved on to the back seat.. It was a joke... It didn't matter what I did, the bottom seat did not fit properly and I couldn't even get it attached. The back part was too big and looked very messy and sloppy, no matter how I tried to manipulate it.. I don't want my cute little PT to look like crap!! My head was feeling a little light headed by this time, which might explain why I kept messing with a loosing battle.. I ended up putting the back seat parts back in the box because there was just no way to attach it so it would fit. My seats are tan, so I did not like the look of my front seats being black and my back seat being tan...Sixth problem... I got in and out of the front seat a few times and realized the covers shifted each time I got in and out.. I can see problems shortly down the road with these covers just looking very messy and like they didn't fit in a short time, and because the elastic was so loose feeling to begin with, plus had ripped loose so easily from the first piece i'd put on, I knew these would not last.. They also had lint sticking to them already, especially the passenger seat, which hadn't even been sat in.. They just seemed to be grabbing stuff from the air..Not to be defeated, I got the floor mats out, and have to say, they were very cute and they did look nice in the car..I decided to take a break since my head was throbbing by now, so I pulled the car into the garage out of the sun and left the windows down thinking it would surely air out... I went back out to check on it about 3 hours later. The entire garage stunk like chemicals.. I'm not positive what the smell is, but I think it may be formaldehyde. It's really bad..I stood and looked the situation over and decided the cute floor mats really weren't worth the $59 I'd paid for this set, and there was no way I could stand for my car to smell that way, especially when I have my grandkids in the car.. so I took the seat covers off and contacted amazon, who is giving me a full refund (yeah amazon)..Would I recommend these seat covers? No way... maybe if you have a really old car with ripped up seats it would be worth putting up with the problems, but only if you don't care about driving light headed from the chemical smell.. In all fairness, maybe after a week or so, MAYBE the smell would go away..MAYBE..right now the set is boxed up and sitting in my garage waiting for UPS to pick it up because I don't even want that stinky set back in my house...

Iliked the seat slip cover and floor mats but the stearing wheel cover was not well made broke when I put it on...
